Project Management Executive (Oil & Gas) – Selangor

Own the delivery of laboratory setups from the ground up. As Project Management Executive, you’ll be the point of accountability guiding turnkey lab projects through design, procurement, installation, and validation — turning a client’s blueprint into a fully operational, regulation-ready laboratory.

You will play an important role to:

• Lead end-to-end project management of turnkey laboratory setups — from feasibility and design through procurement, installation, commissioning, and handover through procurement, installation, commissioning, and handover.
• Develop and track project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, flagging risks before they become delays.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, principals, contractors, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate equipment installation and validation activities in line with laboratory compliance standards.
• Manage vendors and subcontractors — civil, electrical, HVAC, cleanroom, and equipment specialists — to keep every workstream aligned.
• Prepare project documentation, status reports, and updates for internal and client stakeholders.
• Drive post-installation support and smooth project handover to operations.

To be successful in this role, you would require:

• At least a degree in Engineering or similar field.
• At least 3-4 years of project management experience, ideally in laboratory setup, lab equipment installation, or other turnkey projects
• Working knowledge of laboratory infrastructure — cleanroom standards, biosafety requirements, or equipment validation.
• Strong stakeholder management and vendor coordination skills, with the confidence to manage multiple projects parts at once.
• Possess good verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Possess a car and valid Malaysian driving license.
• Able to travel extensively to project sites and customer locations when required.
• Proactive, target-driven and able to work independently and within a team.
