Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Key Account Specialist for our Clinical Diagnostics team. We are looking for individuals who are ambitious, driven and keen to carve a career in sales. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing and executing sales strategies and building strong relationships with the stakeholders.
You will play an important role in:
- Relationship management

- Maintain client relationships: Serve as the primary point of contact for key customers, building and nurturing strong, long-term relationships.

- Ensure customer satisfaction: Proactively address customer needs, concerns, and complaints to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and retention.

- Coordinate support: Liaise with internal departments, such as customer service, technical support, and supply chain, to ensure timely delivery and superior service.
- Sales growth and strategy

- Account planning: Develop and execute strategic account plans to identify new sales opportunities and increase the sales within existing accounts.

- Product promotion: Promote the company's products and services to key clients, emphasizing their value proposition and benefits.

- Achieve sales targets: Drive sales growth within the assigned portfolio of accounts to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Administrative and analytical tasks

- Manage accounts: Oversee all aspects of assigned client accounts, including order entry, invoicing, and contract management.

- Report performance: Monitor key account performance and provide regular reports to management on sales activities, account status, and forecasts.

- Gather market intelligence: Stay informed on market trends and competitor activities to help develop targeted strategies.

- Maintain data: Accurately record customer data and interactions in a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
To be successful in this role, you would require:
- Bachelor's degree in science, Biology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Medical Science or equivalent.
- Fluent in verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- At least 2-3 years of experience in In-Vitro Diagnostics (IVD).
- Own a valid driving license and a car.
- Willing to travel extensively.
- Possess strong analytical skills and the ability to find creative solutions to customer issues.
- A high degree of organization and attention to detail to manage multiple accounts effectively.
- Able to work independently, manage time efficiently, and be self-motivated.
