We are hiring a Business Specialist for our Clinical Diagnostics team. We are looking for individuals who are ambitious, driven and keen to carve a career in sales and marketing. In this role, you will be pursuing new sales prospects, negotiating deals and maintaining customer satisfaction.
You will play an important role in:
- Instrument placements planning, conducting of Continuing Medical Education (CME)/training, as well as execution of sales funnel, sales turnover and calculation of variable gross margin.
- Assist to negotiate and conclude contracts with sales team within the scope of competency.
- Analyse the customer structures and decision-making processes.
- Assimilate, evaluate, and analyze all relevant information about the available market and competition situation and translate the results of analysis into concrete suggestions for sales actions and projects.
- To plan procurement on the product purchases to meet sales target on specific product categories.
- Main liaison with principal, including but not limited to report submission and monthly review.
- Make visits to customers (key accounts) in coordination with sales team to maintain own knowledge of the market and to resolve concrete problems.
- Keep up to date with market trends and new developments utilizing information for business improvement.
- Effective doctors or clinicians visit in current market coverage, mainly focusing in POCT segment.
- Management of clinical study with associations or institutions to ensure smooth implementation.
To be successful in this role, you would require:
- Bachelor's degree in science, Biology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Medical Science or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of commercial (Sales & Marketing) experience, preferably in Clinical Diagnostics.
- Fluent in verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with the ability to distil complex technical information into clear and persuasive messaging.
- Adaptability to fast-paced environments and changing market conditions.
- Good networking with government and private key accounts hospitals.
- Own a valid driving license and a car.
- Travel may be required to attend industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.
